The Chaos Singularity (CoSin for short) is the annual event of the Chaos Computer Club Switzerland (CCC-CH) - a mixture of technical and social congress, creative get-togethers and hacker family meetings.
This year again, on a weekend in June, hackers and geeks from Switzerland and the surrounding countries who are enthusiastic about technology and active in network politics will meet to exchange ideas, learn from each other and have fun together - not only, but also on the device.
The CoSin will take place again this year from Friday, 14th to Sunday, 16th June 2019 at the Villa Ritter in Biel/Bienne.
Do you have experience with a cool topic? A cool project cooking? An interesting idea to discuss? Then talk about it.
Organize a lecture, give a workshop, organize a movie night. Do good and talk about it, show how to build certain things or unusual uses of other things! At CoSin we are open for (almost) everything! Write us with your idea for a time slot. The topics can be as varied as the people who participate.

CoSin is short for Chaos Singularity. We are not quite sure what that means, but we do know, what we want with it: We hope to provide a chance for geeks, nerds, hackers, discordians, chaots and other interested or curious people, to meet, learn, chat, have fun and relax. During three days, we'd like to offer the opportunity to investigate technology, think about its effects on society, or just chat with other participants in a relaxed atmosphere.

The CoSin offers a weekend full of possibilities to exchange about technology, society and politics to all geeks, nerds, hackers, data travellers and other people who are interested in such things. Numerous lectures and workshops are organized by visitors. In between common interests and projects can be discussed and explored in the Hackcenter or on the sunny courtyard, with a beer or a mate tea.
As my personal appearance at the CoSin 2015 had to be dropped due to professional obligations, it is my wish to bring at least the spirit of this convention into freenet.
